Chinese Paintings on Silk Flowers Grasshopper Calligraphy Framed -VINTAGE 2 of 2

Solid, beautiful, serene.  Sorry that the photographs are so reflective.
This vintage framed and matted picture measure about 16" wide by 14 1/2 tall - the painting itself is are about 12" wide x 9" tall.  Black wood frame has carving marks suggest a "bamboo style" - and alternating "bamboo" sections have longitudinal scrape - a design feature I see on a few other silk paintings here.

This and a companion listing are from my Mom's apartment and were the former apartment owner's estate from decades before.  I don't know anything about Chinese art (if you do please provide me further information I can inforporate in these ads!) but the two pieces I'm selling seem unrelated but were obviously framed together back in the day when the phone number for Modern Framecraft still appeared as AL 4-5027 (only the other picture with the bulb has the old paper backing and label) so I think these were framed in or before the 1950s.  These appear
better as a pair so I recommend bidding on both - the last photo is of the pair.
To purchase BOTH at a discount, add half the current price of the other picture (I'll cancel the other auction right away).
